Awarding Ceremony of Winners of On-line Drawing and Essay Contest on the “Conservation and Restoration of Forest Ecosystem of Uzbekistan” was held in Tashkent on December 24, 2019. Through the contest, students have improved their understanding of environmental protection. The competition was held jointly with State Committee on Forestry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
When discussing the works, the correspondence of the drawings to the given topic of the contest was taken into account, together with other criteria like: an idea creativity, performance technique, topic disclosure, originality, creativity and writing skills. The winners were identified by the total points set by each jury for each criteria.
In the drawing contest, the jury, consisting of the members of the Union of artists of Uzbekistan, a chief artist of the satirical magazine “Mushtun”, Mr. Sadikov Husan, and Mr. Shavkat-Muzaffar, artist, architect, noted the techniques used by the students in their works, as well as the use of bright colors and the ability to transmit sensations through the drawing.
Teachers of Uzbek and Russian languages, Ms. Khosiyat Usmanova and Mr. Nodir Baratov, admitted that the children were able to reveal the topic of the contest, as well as the way of presenting thoughts and creative thinking in their essays.
