Improved awareness of pruning enterprises achieved among foresters and forest users in Bobotog forest enterprises"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>In coordination together with the State Committee on Forestry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, GIZ organised a workshop for foresters and forest users on pruning techniques. Pruning \u2013 such as making crowns and preparing limbs and trunks for grafting \u2013 is important for increasing the yield from pistachio trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through workshops and on-the-job training, the capacities&nbsp;of foresters and local forest users in the pilot area were enhanced.
