Challenges and solutions of private afforestation in Kazakhstan discussed in Almaty"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\" style=\"flex-basis:75%\">\n<p>SLU-CA team, in coordination with RK-UNDP-GEF,* conducted the round table \u201cPrivate Afforestation in Kazakhstan: Challenges and Solutions\u201d. Organisers and speakers gave presentations about the current status of the private afforestation sector, with emphasis upon legal aspects and supporting measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GIZ shared the results of a piloting project involving a national programme of state support. Later, round table participants* visited the pilot project territory, which is located in the Almaty region. Called \u201cBayterek\u201d, it is housed in the private nursery Agora.
