{"id":617441,"date":"2020-12-04T13:33:08","date_gmt":"2020-12-04T10:33:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.landuse-ca.org\/?p=617441"},"modified":"2021-12-12T18:35:22","modified_gmt":"2021-12-12T15:35:22","slug":"memorandum-o-vzaimoponimanii-dlya-rea","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.landuse-ca.org\/en\/event\/memorandum-o-vzaimoponimanii-dlya-rea\/","title":{"rendered":"Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the Regional Programme \u201cIntegrative and Climate Sensitive Land Use in Central Asia\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the Regional Programme \u201cIntegrative and Climate Sensitive Land Use in Central Asia\u201d between the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (German federal enterprise for international cooperation) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection of Turkmenistan was signed during the online ceremony on December 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day was also marked by signing of documents on international cooperation and bilateral partnership with different organizations (UNDP, FAO, CAREC and others). The Signing Ceremony has finalized the second day of the International Exhibition devoted to the 25th Anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan. It is a twelve-day event (December 1-12) that will mark achievements of the Government of Turkmenistan and its people in various fields and sectors. Namely, the second day of the Exhibition was devoted to the manifestation of national achievements in the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan. The Scientific-Practical Conference \u201cEnvironment Protection and Conservation of Ecosystem Services in Turkmenistan \u2013 Way to Sustainable Development\u201d, Roundtable on Initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan for the Implementation of the UN Special Programme for the Aral Sea and overview presentation of the State Association \u201cTurkmen Atlary\u201d are among numerous holiday events that were attended by national and international specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regional Programme \u201cIntegrative and Climate Sensitive Land Use in Central Asia\u201d is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) during the period of March 2021- February 2024.
